In 1981 Refinery Research Corporation underwent a reorganization after acquiring a previously family controlled specialty chemical company. The new management consisted of chemical engineers, national sales managers, national marketing manager, and research director; all with the previous responsibilities and experience from Fortune ‘300’ companies concentrating in the manufacturing and marketing of refinery chemicals and fuel additives to the refining industry, at corporate and research level.

The purpose of the reorganization and expansion was to offer the latest developing technology into the international marketplace, both at the refinery chemicals level and to the governmental and large commercial users for new generation fuel additive chemistry.

AmFleet Chemicals was established as a marketing & distribution division for a specialty products line of fuel chemicals for diesel and gasoline applications.

Our Client Responsibilities & Corporate Objectives:

• Always make sure any claim or benefit derived from our chemicals can be readily proven by available accepted, certified refinery industry tests. If you can't prove it, don't say it.

• Make sure that the benefits derived are greater than the costs involved.

• Test and continually retest. Fuels change every day; every refinery; every distribution point. All government and fleet chemistry is checked by A.S.T.M. tests and other parameters, then shelf, environment, and actual vehicle usage tests are conducted; then offered for sale.

• Be current and complete with all governmental certification, registration, and documentation for all chemicals offered into that marketplace.

• Offer only the finest quality, most advanced product available. We manufacture our products to work with the equipment as it was designed, be it a refining ‘cracking tower’ or a diesel engine. What worked twenty years ago (or 3) doesn't work today.

• Listen to the Client! We listen. We built our company with many decades of experience in the refining industry, from research, manufacturing, sales and consulting, before and during the changes and fuel problems of the early 1970’s until the present. We advise and supply multinational refiners, engine and equipment manufacturers, governmental entities (pollution and maintenance reduction), and some of the world’s largest fleets.

Our primary manufacturing is completed in Houston, TX and the Texas gulf coast. Secondary manufacturing has and can be completed in the Far East and Central or South America.
